Bangladesh Wins By 6 Wickets Against Afghanistan

Bangladesh has achieved victory in their first match of the World Cup for the third consecutive time, this time securing a 6-wicket win over Afghanistan.

They had previously defeated Afghanistan in their opening matches of both the 2015 World Cup and the 2019 tournament.

Following an outstanding performance by their bowlers, Miraz and Shanto both recorded half-centuries to ensure a comfortable win for the Bangladesh team in Dharamsala.

Miraz contributed 57 runs from 73 balls, while Shanto remained unbeaten with 59 runs.
