Bangladesh team captain Shakib Al Hasan has returned to the country all of a sudden. He arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday morning (October 25) and went to Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in the afternoon.

This experienced cricketer is practicing with the former assistant coach of the national team Mohammad Salahuddin at the indoor stadium.

It is known that Shakib will join the team on October 27. The next day, Bangladesh will play against the Netherlands at Kolkata's Eden Garden.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh team reached Kolkata today after the match against South Africa in Mumbai.

Shakib scored only 56 runs at an average of 14 in four matches in this year's World Cup. He played the highest innings of 40 runs against New Zealand.

He took 6 wickets with the ball at 5.54 runs per over. His best performance was 3 for 30 in the first match against Afghanistan. Shakib did not play the match against India due to injury.
