A low-pressure system is anticipated to develop over the Andaman Sea and the adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal around November 27, with a likelihood of intensifying into a depression and evolving into a cyclone by November 29. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the formation of a cyclonic circulation in the south Andaman Sea on November 26, followed by the development of a low-pressure area in the same region on the subsequent day.

As per the Bangladesh Meteorological Department's forecast for the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today, a seasonal low-pressure area extends its trough from the South Bay to the North Bay, with the formation of a low-pressure system expected over the South Andaman Sea and its vicinity around November 27, 2023.

Today's weather forecast suggests dry conditions with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country. Both night and day temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature in the country was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius in Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today reached 14.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

In the capital, the sun is scheduled to set at 05:11 pm today and rise at 06:20 am tomorrow.
