RAB Recoveres 41 Crude Bombs From Abandoned House In C’nawabganj

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have recovered 41 crude bombs from an abandoned house in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Friday night.

Lt. Col Md Munim Ferdous, commander of the RAB-5 in Rajshahi, at a press briefing on Saturday morning said tipped off, they recovered the crude bombs from the house in Lavanga Sundorpur area under Nayalabanga union of the upazila around 8 pm on Friday.

Later, the bombs were defused in a mango orchard, the RAB officer said.

He, however, said no one was arrested in this connection and a drive is on to arrest those who kept the bombs in the house.

Company Commander Major Maruful Islam and Deputy Commander Aminul Islam were, among others, present at the press briefing._UNB
