Awami League General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader  said that those who boycotted the election are plotting with new conspiracy. They are looking towards their foreign friends to help them in eliminating the government. They are also hoping for a Cambodia-like ban.

He made this comment after paying his respects at Bangabandhu's Tomb in Tungipara, Gopalganj, on Saturday (January 13) at noon.

He also said that Sheikh Hasina does not care about any ban, any visa ban. On the principle of 'friendship with all, enmity with none'- is this government’s policy.

General Secretary of Awami League said that if someone creates terror and unrest situation in politics, they must be dealt with. Opposition has to deal with politics.

Regarding the manifesto, he said, implementation of the manifesto is our main challenge. Many obstacles may arise. Because the election boycotters have started a new conspiracy.

Earlier, the Prime Minister and the members of the new cabinet left Dhaka by road at 9 am and reached Gopalganj around 11:30 pm. Later they paid their homage to Bangabandhu's Tomb around 12:15pm.

Meanwhile this is the first time Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is visiting Gopalganj after forming the government for the fifth time consecutively.
