LPG Price Hiked Again

The price of LPG has increased again at the consumer level. The price of a 12 kg cylinder has been increased from Tk 1,433 to Tk 1,474.

The regulatory body Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new rate today Sunday (February 4) at 3 pm. Which will be effective from the evening.

Earlier in January, BERC had increased the price of LP gas from Tk 1,404 to Tk 1,433.

According to the BERC announcement, the retail point price of private LPG has been adjusted to Tk 122 86 paise per kg including value-added tax (VAT). Besides, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid form in the reticulated system has been adjusted by 119 taka 4 paise per kg including VAT.

Meanwhile, the price of autogas including VAT has been adjusted to Tk 67 and Tk 68 paise per liter.
