The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Ambassador of Myanmar, Aung Kyaw Moe, in the incident of shelling on the border of Bangladesh and the death of two people.

He has been summoned at 11 am today, Tuesday (February 6).

It is known that Bangladesh will call the ambassador of Myanmar and give a strong protest about the ongoing situation on the border. Besides, Dhaka also asks for the answers of the two victims.

Earlier, on Monday (February 5) afternoon, two people were killed by a mortar shell fired from Myanmar at the Ghumdhum border in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban. Among them, there is a Bangladeshi woman and a Rohingya man.
