HC Orders Submission Of List Of Registrable GI Products

High Court Bench, comprised of Justice Mohammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar and Justice Sardar Mohd. Rashed Jahangir, has given directives in the court with rules regarding a primary hearing of a writ filed on Sunday. The compliance reports submission deadline has been set for 19th March.

The writ has been filed by Sarwat Siraj Shukla, with the court hearing conducted by him personally.

Later, Siraj Shukla told Prothom Alo that a list of products registered as G.I. in Bangladesh and another list of products eligible for national and international registration have been directed to be submitted within a month. The hearing is scheduled for 19th March.
