BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the government is continuing to oppress to maintain power. The movement of the opposition cannot be suppressed by doing this.

He said these things at a press conference in Nayapaltan on Sunday (February 25).

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that all those involved in torture of BNP leaders will be prosecuted. Everyone knows who is involved with the syndicate. The government is busy in blaming the opposition party without doing anything themselves.

Rizvi said that the country has now fallen into a deep crisis after the dummy election on January 7. 95% of the people of the country are against the illegitimate government led by Sheikh Hasina, except of few identified policemen, bureaucrats, and the privileged corrupt mafia who launder money from the government party. A conspiracy to enslave the people by seizing state power at the point of gun barrel of law and order forces is underway like a char grab.

He also said that there is no security for people's life and property. Violence against women and children has taken a terrible shape. The independence and sovereignty of the country is now under threat due to the kneeling government.
