None Is Out Of Danger In Gazipur Cylinder Blast: Health Min

In a gas cylinder explosion in a village in Gazipur, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Samanta Lal Sen has informed that none of the 34 injured, including women and children, have fully recovered. The condition of 8 to 10 of them is reported to be very critical, according to the Minister. 

On Thursday (March 14), the Minister visited the injured and stated that no one undergoing treatment was completely out of danger. The condition of 8 to 10 of them is very critical. Some have suffered 90% burns while others have suffered 100%. None of the seven injured children are out of danger. All of them have suffered respiratory burns. Everything necessary will be done for the burn victims by the government.

Yesterday, on Wednesday, 36 people were injured in a fire caused by gas leaking from a cylinder. 34 of them have been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in Dhaka.

The injured are Nadim (22), Nirab (10), Sufia (9), Miraj (13), Tarek Rahman, Solayman (9), Lalon (23), Naeem (8), Shilpi (40), Yasin Arafat (21), Sumon (26), Muhidul (27), Munnat (18), Rabbi (13), Nargis (25), Sadiya Khatoon (18), Zahirul (32), Arif (40), Ratna Begum (40), Taiba (5), Monsur Ali (30), Nurnabi (3), Rahima (3), Kabir (30), Kuddus (45), Touhid (7), Solayman Molla (45), Mashur (22), Laden (22), Komola Khatun (65), Niloy (3), Bashar (45), Md. Ferdous (19), Azizul (24), Sumi (19), Motalib (40).
