Dhallywood actress Riana Parvin Poli, well known as Poli is once again set to participate in the upcoming election of the Bangladesh Film Artistes Association (BFAA). She will contest the election from the Mahmud Koli-Nipun Akter panel for the post of executive member of the Bangladesh Film Artistes Association. This information has been confirmed by the actress herself.

Regarding this matter, Poli stated, "I have been in this industry for a long time. I have done many movies. Have great experience as a senior artist. Moreover, I am serving in the film club election for the second time. Past experiences will be useful in this election."

The last election was a subject of much discussion within the Artistes Association. In these uncertain times, how reasonable does it seem to participate in the elections? In response to such a question, Poli said, "There will always be debates and arguments in any election. Without discussions, progress is impossible. We must move forward with these discussions. I hope this time we will have a fair and impartial election. If I am elected as a member, I will work to protect the interests of the members along with the elected committee."

Before this, Poli had participated in the elections of Bangladesh Film Club Limited for the second time and received 246 votes, securing her position.

it is notable that Poli, from Khulna, gained fame by debuting in Mohammad Hossain's film 'Fire' in 2001, the opposite of Manna. Since then, she has acted in 113 films. Currently, she resides in Gulshan with her husband and children.
