Advance Eid Sale Of Bus Tickets Begins

This morning, private bus operators commenced the sale of advance tickets for travelers returning home ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

These advance tickets are accessible at all inter-district bus counters, and passengers also have the option to procure them online.

Shubhankar Ghosh Rakesh, serving as the Joint General Secretary of the Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners Association and also the Managing Director of Shyamoli NR Travels, mentioned that a monitoring team has been established to facilitate the orderly purchase of advance bus tickets from the counters, ensuring that tickets are not sold on the black market.

Administrative oversight will be enforced to prevent black market ticket sales and passenger harassment.

Additionally, Bangladesh Railway will initiate the advance sale of train tickets for Eid-ul-Fitr from March 24.
