3 Killed, 3 Injured In Bagerhat Ttruck Crush

Three people were killed and three others were injured in a truck crash in Rampal upazila of Bagerhat.

The accident happened on Saturday morning on the Khulna-Mongla highway. The deceased are Sayed Morol, son of Rezzak Molla of Jhanjhania village of Rampal upazila, Azad, and Moni of Rampal upazila.

Babu Akhter of the media cell of the district police said that on Saturday morning, there was a head-on collision between a truck and a van coming from the opposite direction at Chairman Mor of Khulna-Mongla highway in Rampal upazila. A passenger of the van was killed on the spot. Two others died on the way to the hospital. Rampal Thana police and fire service went to the spot after receiving the information. The truck driver has been taken into police custody. Legal action is under process in this incident.
