Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid said that the allegations against Milton Samaddar, the founder of a shelter called 'Child and Old Age Care', are 'terrible'. This officer of the DB Police said, 'The allegations raised against Milton Samader will be thoroughly investigated. If he has done these, he has committed a heinous crime. If the evidence is found, he will not be exempted.
DB has announced the arrest of Milton Samaddar from Mirpur in Dhaka on Wednesday night on various charges including fraud. Later in the night, Additional Commissioner Harun-Or-Rashid held a press conference at the DB office in Dhaka's Minto Road.
Police officer Harun-or-Rashid said, "Many complaints have been made against Milton Samadder. He used to bring helpless children and old people to the shelter. In the video that went viral after it was published on social media, he admitted that there is an operation theater (surgery center) there (shelter). If there is an operation theater or a hospital, it should have a license. But he could not show any license in this regard.
Milton said in a video that he used to bury most of the bodies at night. In this context, DB official Harun-or-Rashid said, 'He was asked, why did he bury the body at night? He replied people ask me (Milton) various questions if the body is not buried at night. He will be remanded and asked for details during interrogation.'
Police officer Harun-or-Rashid said that there is a discrepancy in the account given by Milton Samada's burial. He said, 'We also know that he has already buried 900 bodies. However, there is a discrepancy in the number of 835 bodies. He does not have any document of the burial of these bodies. He admitted to the media that he used to forge the doctor's signature and seal by preparing the death certificate himself.
There is a mosque next to his ashram, from where the question has also been raised, there are blood stains on the body of the dead body near the kidney. He will be interrogated in these matters.

There is a mosque adjacent to his shelter, where he used to send the dead for bathing. It has also been reported from that mosque that blood stains were found on the body near the kidneys during the bath of the deceased. He will be questioned on these issues.
Milton Samaddar has two shelters, DB official Harun-Or-Rashid said, "One of his shelters is in Mirpur and the other is in Savar." He said there are 500 to 700 people in the shelter. But after searching there (shelter), it was found that there were not more than 20-30 or 40 people.
We will ask him how many people visited his shelter. How many people died there? The allegation of whether he sold kidneys from the place where he set up the operation theater will also be investigated.

Harun-or-Rashid told Milton Samadder's village house is in Barishal's Uzirpur, "After beating his father, the villagers drove Milton out of the area. Then he came to Shahbagh and worked in a pharmacy. He was expelled for stealing medicine there. Later Milton married a nurse named Mithu Haldar. After marriage, he established a shelter called 'Child and Old Age Care' in Mirpur with his wife.
