As a result of the severe heatwave across the country, three more people have been affected by heatstroke, the Health Directorate said. One of them died. According to the Directorate, in the last 14 days, 34 people have suffered from heatstroke, and 15 people have died.
Today, Monday (May 6), the control room of the Health Directorate has given this information about heat stroke victims and deaths.
The Health Directorate has informed that 34 people have suffered from heat stroke across the country in 14 days from April 22 to Sunday (May 5) morning. 15 of them died.
Three people have been infected in the last 24 hours, out of which one has died. The person who died of heatstroke was a resident of Narail.
According to the information of the Health Directorate, seven people died in Magura. Apart from this, reports of deaths have come from Chattogram, Khulna, Chuadanga, Habiganj, Rajbari, Jhenaidah, Lalmonirhat, Bandarban and Madaripur.
