Bangladesh To Play 2 Warm-Up Matches Before T20 World Cup

Bangladesh team is currently in the United States to play a three-match series ahead of the T20 World Cup. Besides this bilateral series, Bangladesh will also play two additional warm-up matches. One of these matches will be against the United States again, while the other will be against India.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches for the World Cup today, Friday (May 17).

On May 28, Nazmul Hossain Shanto's team will play the first warm-up match against the United States at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas. Then on June 1, Bangladesh will play the second warm-up match against India. However, the venue for this match has not yet been finalized by the ICC.

The warm-up matches for the World Cup will start from May 27. On the first day, Canada will face Nepal, Oman will play against Papua New Guinea, and Namibia will compete against Uganda. The next day, Sri Lanka will play against the Netherlands, and the remaining matches of the day will be Bangladesh vs. the United States and Australia vs. Namibia.

On May 29, Afghanistan and Oman will play warm-up matches. On May 30, Nepal will face the United States, Scotland will play against Uganda, the Netherlands will face Canada, Namibia will play against Papua New Guinea, and West Indies will play against Australia.

On May 31, Ireland and Sri Lanka will take the field. Scotland will play against Afghanistan. England and New Zealand will not play any warm-up matches.
