Bangladesh Declares One Day State Mourning On Iran President’s Death

Bangladesh will observe one-day state mourning on Thursday showing respect to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi who died in a tragic helicopter crash on Monday. The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.

As a mark of respect, the national flag will be kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, and missions abroad, it said.

Special prayers will be offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
