Fire Breaks Out In Rohingya Camp

Rohingya camp in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, a fire broke out on Saturday afternoon. At this time the blaze erupted at Tanzimarkhola Rohingya camp number 13 of the upazila.

Two firefighting units have rushed to the spot to douse the blaze after receiving information, Additional DIG Md Amir Zafar, captain of APBn-8, confirmed.

He said: "There has been a fire in the camp. Two units of the fire service are currently trying to put out the fire. But the fire is spreading around because of the wind. The cause of the fire is not yet known.”

On May 24, over 300 establishments, including houses, were gutted in a fire in the same camp.
