Maritime Ports Asked To Hoist Local Cautionary Signal 3

Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary single number three as deep convection is taking place over the North Bay due to strong monsoon. 

Gusty/squally weather may affect the maritime ports, the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of the country, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a special bulletin today.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice._BSS
