Khaleda Zia`s Health Condition Improves

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health has slightly improved and will remain under observation in a private hospital in the capital. Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain confirmed the matter on Monday morning (July 1).

The physician said that madam is still under treatment in the hospital. Doctors are keeping her under close observation and treating her. She is now better than the condition she was brought to the hospital. She is stable now.

Her complete treatment is not possible in Bangladesh. She is being treated here to keep her diseases under control, the doctor added.

Earlier on June 23, Khaleda Zia underwent a successful surgery to implant a pacemaker in her bloodstream due to cirrhosis of the liver.
