The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Police raided a four-storey building, which they suspected to be a militant hideout, in Narayanganj's Rupganj upazila this morning. Mahfuzul Alam Rasel, superintendent (media)of ATU, confirmed the development.
On Tuesday (July 2) around 10:30 am, a team of ATU surrounded the house based on a tip-off received in the intelligence investigation.
ATU Superintendent of Police (Media and Awareness) Mahfuzul Alam Russell said that a team of ATU has surrounded a four-storey house suspected of being a terrorist hideout at the Barpa area in Rupganj, Narayanganj. A raid will be conducted there shortly.
