On June 19, 10 people were killed in a landslide in Ukhiya’s Rohingya camp due to heavy rain.

Md Rafiq of Ukhiya’s Kutupalong Rohingya Camp said: “Most of the Rohingyas live in the foothills of the camp. As a result, heavy rains are causing loss of life. The Rohingyas are living at risk. If the heavy rains continue like this, there is a risk of further loss of life in the camp unless these residents are not moved to safe places.”
