Farzana Mithila’s Contractual Appointment Cancelled

The government has terminated the contractual appointment of Mobashwira Farzana Mithila (Mithila Farzana) as a Counsellor at the Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed Mithila to return to Dhaka by August 31, thus ending her current duties.

Previously, Mithila was serving as the Director/Counselor of the Public Diplomacy Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a contractual basis.

She was also the Head of Current Affairs at Ekattor Television.
