1400 RMG Factories Active In Ashulia Even On Holiday

Production to 1400 readymade garment factories in Savar's Ashulia are going on on Monday, though today is a public holiday du to Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

Following the workers' protest, the production has been hampered at the factories for the last few days.

Today, the workers are working peacefully, it was learnt.

The factory authorities said that they took the decision of keeping  the factories open on holiday to deal with the loss in the face of continuous labor protests.

The employees said the work environment in he name of movement has been spoiled for a long time. "We joined the work as situation became normal."

In the face of workers' unrest, the authorities bound to shut the factories in the Ashulia industrial area.
