Advisor to the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, Dr. Asif Nazrul, has announced that a special lounge for workers heading to the Middle East will be established at the airport within the next month.

He made this statement today, Saturday (October 5), during a signing ceremony between the Wage Earners' Welfare Board and the Malaysian company Parkeso regarding the protection and welfare of Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia, held at the Victory 71 Hall of the Expatriate Welfare Building.

Dr. Nazrul stated, "We will arrange a separate special lounge at the airport for our workers going to the Middle East. We have already secured a location, and discussions have been held with Civil Aviation. I hope it will be completed within a month."

He added, "With the lounge, the suffering of our expatriate workers will be greatly alleviated. Additionally, there will be other VIP services available. From the moment they enter the airport until they board the plane, there will be someone to assist them at every stage. We believe this is not just generosity towards expatriates, but our responsibility. This should have been done a long time ago."
