Journalist-agriculturist Saleh Mohammad Rashid Al0k was beaten up and bloodied after he protested against serving rotten and smelly tikka with kacchi biryani at Banani's Star Kabab in the capital. The victim journalist filed a case in this incident. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banani police station Russell Sarwar confirmed to the media that 11 people have been arrested in this incident.

Yesterday, Sunday (October 6), he filed this case at Banani police station.

Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rasel Sarwar said that a case has been registered in connection with the attack on a man named Saleh Mohammad Rashid Alok at Star Kabab. 11 people have already been arrested. Appropriate legal action has been taken against all. A case has been filed against 4-5 unidentified people. If anyone else is involved subject to investigation, all will be brought to justice.

It is to be noted that on Sunday afternoon, the staff of the hotel severely beat up the customer for protesting against serving rotten and smelly tikka with kacchi biryani at Banani Star Kabab. In this, customer Saleh Mohammad Rashid Alok's right arm and right leg were broken, his forehead and head were broken and he was bloody. He was admitted to Kurmitola Hospital with injuries.

A bloody video of journalist Alok went viral on Facebook that day. He can be heard saying, when he and one of his friends complained about the smell of food, the manager of Star Kabab said, "You have never eaten tikka in your life." That's how it goes. On hearing this, he protested and three other customers also made the same complaint. The manager pressed the call bell and gathered all the staff. The staff came down from the second floor to the first floor to push Alok, threw him down the stairs on the first floor and beat him severely. 14 to 15 people from Star Kebab participated in the attack.
