After
scoring hundreds, Bangladesh batsmen Shadman Islam and Najmul Hossain Shanto
guided the visitors to a 477-run target for hosts Zimbabwe.
Shadman
remained undefeated on 115, while Namjul, batting at number three, smashed an
unbeaten 117 off 118 balls, which included five boundaries and six over
boundaries. For the second wicket, the pair put on an unbroken 196-run stand.
Bangladesh
will now have four sessions to force Zimbabwe to go all-out to win the game.
On
the fourth day of the ongoing Test against hosts Zimbabwe at Harare Sports
Club, visitors Bangladesh made a strong start. The visitors resumed the day
with a 45-run overnight total, with openers Shadman Islam and Saif Hassan each
scoring 22 and 20 runs.
Bangladesh
were 45 without loss in their second innings at stumps on the third day of
their one-off test at Harare Sports Club on Friday, putting them in command of
a commanding advantage over Zimbabwe with two days remaining.
Bangladesh
built a 237-run lead into the fourth day after dismissing their opponents for
276 just over an hour before the closing of play, with Mehedi Hasan Miraz
taking 5/82 and Shakib al Hasan taking 4/82.
