Papon Bought Nomination for BCB Polls

Nazmul Hasan Papon, the current president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), has bought nomination papers to contest in the BCB election.

The election for BCB will take place on October 6. The deadline for buying nomination papers was today.

Around 2:00 pm, Papon arrived to BCB officer and collected nomination forms from category-2. Abahani Limited, a historic club in Dhaka, appointed him as a councillor.

“I am too much happy,” Nazmul Hasan stated after buying the nomination form. I observed on TV the other day that there are a lot of new faces... This is exactly what I was hoping for.”

Since AHM Mustafa Kamal left in 2012, Papon has been the president. Papon was elected in 2013 and 2017.
