Seychelles Beat Maldives, Secure Final

The favorite Maldives have been eliminated from the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa four-nation football tournament in Sri Lanka. The small African country Seychelles on Tuesday (November 18) made a goalless draw with Maldives. Seychelles has confirmed the final.

Seychelles has scored 5 points in 3 matches in the round-robin league. The Maldives got 2 points in the equal match.

Due to the rain at the racecourse ground in Colombo, the ball is hardly coming on the player's feet. The two teams had trouble playing on the muddy field. The Maldives did not score a goal in the attack. Seychelles also tried. But the goal did not come.

On the contrary, there are occasional tensions between the two teams. In the second half, one player from each of the two teams received a red card.

Bangladesh will play against Sri Lanka at night. Jamal Bhuiyan's team will go to the final if they draw.
