Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the teams for the upcoming West Indies tour of Bangladesh where the Tigers will play Test matches, One Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals, reports media.

During the tour, Bangladesh will play two Test matches at Antigua and Saint Lucia, then they will take on the hosts in a series of three T20I matches and then both the teams will lock horns in a three-match ODI series.

The national selectors have recalled Mustafizur Rahman for the Test matches, though he is not included in the annual red-ball contract with the BCB. Anamul Haque Bijoy reaped the rewards of scoring the most runs in a season in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket league and earned a call-up to the national team after three years.

Mosaddek Hossain is also picked in the Test squad, though he is almost certain to play the Dhaka Test against Sri Lanka starting tomorrow as both Nayeem Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are injured.

The off-spinner all-rounder is drafted in all three formats despite not being in the national contract of any. He was the third-highest run-getter in the DPL last season and in he played for controversy-marred Sylhet Sunrisers in the Bangladesh Premier League last season where his team got the wooden spoon.

Shakib Al Hasan is picked for all three formats, though it is still unclear whether the all-rounder will play or not as the ODI series is not part of the ICC Men's World Cup Super League.

Mushfiqur Rahim is not picked for any of the formats in the West Indies tour as he will be performing the holy hajj this year.

Shoriful Islam, the young left-arm pacer misses the Test series for injury but he will join the team for the limited-overs series later on.

Munim Shahriar retains his spot as the T20I opener, but Mohammad Naim misses out this time and Saif Uddin returns to the team after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
