Shakib's Relation with BCB Will End If He Stays with Betting Company: Papon

Although not directly connected, Shakib Al Hasan has become the media brand ambassador of a well-known betting company. The cricket arena of Bangladesh has been in a frenzy for a few days.

And now today, the BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon warned that if Shakib does not leave the betting company, then he will not have anything to do with Bangladesh cricket!

He said, "Shakib was supposed to receive a letter yesterday (Wednesday). It should arrive by today (Thursday). After that, we can decide about Shakib. If there is any kind of involvement (in the betting establishment), he will not be on the team. Shakib can only play the Asia Cup if he leaves the betting company."
