Shakib-Mushfiqur have already started practicing on the field to prepare for the upcoming Asia Cup. BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon suddenly visited the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today (Thursday, August 18) to watch their practice.

Papon originally went to Mirpur to inquire about the preparations for the Asia Cup. At this time he spoke to the cricketers. Even from Tigers' batting coach Jamie Siddons, Nazmul Hasan took information about the improvement of the cricketers. This time the BCB chief was accompanied by the chairman of cricket operations Jalal Yunus and team director Khaled Mahmud Sujan.

Mushfiqur was batting at the center wicket when Nazmul Hasan came to the field. Shakib finished practice and entered the dressing room earlier.

Nazmul Hasan Papon while talking to the reporters said that since the team is going to the Asia Cup, Siddons has also come. He told me some people are practicing here. They talked about what they were doing and not doing. When I heard they were practicing, I thought I'd come.

Regarding Shakib, the BCB president said, Shakib felt very confident. I talk to him regularly, as do all the players. I talk to pretty much everyone. Today I really wanted to know what he thinks. I think Shakib is confident.

He also said, "I am not talking about winning or losing, but the belief that we can win in the game is very important. And I found the confidence in our players, I'm happy. There is a discussion about what the options can be. I think winning or losing is not a big deal, but we should try to play well this time."
