Ireland skipper Andrew Balbirnie elected to bat first in the third and series-deciding ODI against Bangladesh after winning the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

In the first two matches, Balbirnie sent Bangladesh into batting and felt the wrath as the Tigers posted their two highest totals in the ODI history.

In the first match, Bangladesh compiled 338-8 and won the game by 183 runs for their largest ever victory.

They went past the total in the second match to rack up 349-6 but unfortunately the game was washed out following a consistent rain.

To make it 2-0, the hosts made just one change with allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz replacing batter Yasir Ali. Miraz missed the first two matches due to his eye injury.

Ireland, aiming to square the series, were unchanged.
