Junior Tigers Beat Pakistan U-19 by 4 Wickets in 3rd ODI

Bangladesh U-19 cricket team faced Pakistan in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at home. The hosts beat the visitors by 4 wickets in this match. However, Tiger Youth lost the series by 2-1 against Pakistan.

On Thursday, the youth of Bangladesh entered the field against Pakistan at the Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi. Batting first in this match, the visitors lost all wickets and scored 154 runs in 41.4 overs. In response, the successors of Tamim-Shakib reached the goal of winning in 26 overs.

Ahrar Amin Pian invited Pakistan to bat after winning the toss. However, the Pakistani openers could not get off to a good start by batting first. The visitors lost two openers Azan (2) and Shahzaib (3) at the beginning.

After that, Pakistan started to turn around with the bat of Arif and Shyamal. However, Iqbal Hasan Arif got out after making 17 off 27 balls. After losing Hamza (2) the visiting team fell under pressure.

At the other end, Pakistan captain Mirza Saad continued to fight alone against the Tiger bowlers. He continued to advance Pakistan's innings with Minhaj. But Wasi Siddique dismissed Mirza when Pakistan youth were 97 runs.

Then Amir Hasan (8), Sajjad Ali (2) and Amal Khan (2) got out at regular intervals and Pakistan U-19 team all out for 154 runs based on Ali Afsand's unbeaten innings of 27 runs.

Barshan and Emon took three wickets each for Bangladesh on this day. Jeevan also took two wickets and Jisan and Wasi took one wicket each.

Bangladesh got off to a good start with Adil Bin Siddique and Mazharul Islam added 59 runs for the opening stand. However, Adil got out for 34 runs in the tenth over of the match.

Then Jisan Alam came to the crease. He got off to a great start. At the other end, Mazharul settled on the wicket but got out for 21 runs. Then Ariful (12) and Jisan (24) and Tiger captain Pian (7) were out in regular intervals. 

But under pressure, Shihab James continued to advance Bangladesh. However, he also got dismissed for 27 runs when Bangladesh U19 team close to victory.

In the end Bangladesh got an easy four wickets victory thanks to Jibon's 13 not out and Rabbi's 8 runs not out.

On this day, Amal Khan took two wickets alone for Pakistan. Amir, Afsand and Minhaj also took one wicket each.
