In the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan scored 448 runs in their first innings. In reply, Bangladesh posted 556 runs, thanks to Mushfiqur Rahim's century, securing a 117-run lead. By the end of Day 4, Pakistan scored 23 runs for the loss of one wicket in their second innings.
The hosts are trailing by 94 runs, with just one day remaining in the Rawalpindi Test. As a result, the match seems to be heading towards a likely draw.
Pakistan lost an early wicket in their second innings. Opener Saim Ayub was dismissed by pacer Shariful Islam after scoring 1 run from 3 balls, with the team's score at just 5 runs.
Following Saim's departure, Pakistan captain Shan Masood came to the crease, joining the other opener Abdullah Shafique to stabilize the innings.
By the end of the day, Pakistan finished at 23/1 in 10 overs. Shafique remained unbeaten on 12 runs from 31 balls, while Masood was not out on 9 runs from 26 balls.
