SAFF U-17 Final: Bangladesh To Face India This Afternoon

Bangladesh will battle for silverware against India in the final of the SAFF U-17 championship.

The match will start at the Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutan at 6:00pm.

India has displayed dominant performance from the beginning of this year’s tournament. They beat Bangladesh earlier to kick-start the tournament.

Ahead of the final, Bangladesh coach Titu said, “There is no doubt that India are the favourites here. They are technically and tactically mature. The way our boys performed in the match against Pakistan, I am confident about them. But India are a good side; they are title holders; we have to give our best against them.”

Meanwhile, after an early scare of being knocked out of the tournament, the disciples of Saiful Bari Titu made it to the semi-finals thanks to India’s win against the Maldives. In the nail-biting semi-final against Pakistan, the youngsters in red, green again sealed the final after winning 8-7 in the tiebreaker.
