Ampere Nexus Launches Impressive Electric Scooter with 136 KM Range

Ampere Nexus has launched an impressive electric scooter featuring fantastic specifications and a remarkable range. Capable of covering 136 kilometers on a full charge, the scooter has already made waves in the Indian market, priced at just ₹1,10,000.

The scooter is equipped with a 3 kWh battery capacity, and deliveries are set to begin in May 2025.

Ampere Nexus has introduced two variants of this electric scooter: a base model named EX and a top model ST. While the base model is priced at ₹1,10,000, customers will need to pay an additional ₹10,000 for the top model. The scooter is available in four colors: Janskara Aqua, Lunar White, Indian Red, and Steel Grey.

The battery pack provides power ranging from 3.3 kW to a maximum of 4 kW. On a full charge, the battery offers a range of 136 kilometers, with a top speed of 93 kilometers per hour. It includes four riding modes: Eco, City, Power, and Limp Home. The manufacturer claims the scooter can be operated at a 16-degree angle, and the 3 kWh battery pack takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes to charge, with a fast-charging option also available.

The Ampere Nexus scooter features a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The ST model, priced at ₹1,20,000, includes a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation, while the base model offers a 6.2-inch LCD display along with Bluetooth connectivity. Music control and charging status are also available on the scooter.

The seat height of the new scooter is set at 765 millimeters, and it features full LED lighting, 170 millimeters of ground clearance, and 235 millimeters of floorboard space. This electric scooter has been developed with a focus on family use, aiming to provide a vehicle that everyone in the household can use for daily commutes.
