Adobe has unveiled a new tool powered by artificial intelligence (AI) technology that enables users to create videos from written prompts.
The tool, named "Adobe Firefly Video Model," allows users to automatically generate their desired videos using any image and message. Initially, the tool is available for use by individuals who have registered in advance.
According to Adobe, this generative AI tool will utilize Adobe's database and copyright-free images or content for video creation. As a result, users can easily create their desired videos using copyright-free materials.
Moreover, the videos created will not face any legal obstacles for commercial use. Users can control the video's angle, motion, and zoom through the tool designed for creating videos from written prompts.
Eli Greenfield, Chief Technology Officer of Adobe's Digital Media Division, stated that this tool was developed to simplify the daily tasks of video creators and editors. Therefore, the tool has been trained on various technical aspects related to camera positioning, angles, and motion.
Market analysts suggest that with the launch of this video creation tool, Adobe is entering direct competition with AI technologies from ByteDance, OpenAI, and Meta. This is particularly relevant since OpenAI released its video generation model "Sora" from written prompts last year.
Additionally, Meta and ByteDance recently announced their own AI tools for video creation.
