Malaysia's civil aviation has imposed new restrictions on the travel of passengers from other countries of the world. If the full dose of Coronavirus vaccine is not taken then travelers will have to stay in quarantine for four days along with Covid-19 test will be required.

However, if the travelers have taken the full dose, then within two days before the journey, they will have to take a negative certificate after going through RT-PCR test. Upon arrival in Malaysia, the traveler will have to go through a Rapid Antigen test at his/her own cost and get a negative certificate.

This information was given in an order issued by the Civil Aviation on Sunday (March 13).

The new travel restrictions will take effect on April 1. A copy of the order has been sent to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).

The order further states that passengers who have taken the full dose of the vaccine, but have been infected with corona once in the last two months, must enter Malaysia after doing a rapid antigen test and getting negative report before two days of the journey.

They do not have to be in any quarantine. However, when he/she arrives in Malaysia, he/she will have to take a negative certificate by testing the rapid antigen at his/her own expense.

In addition, passengers who have not been vaccinated against corona due to various diseases will have to undergo corona identification RT-PCR test and have to collect a negative certificate within two days of departure. Arriving in Malaysia, he/she will have to undergo a rapid antigen test at his own. He/she also must be in 5 days institutional quarantine at his own expense.

On the 4th day of quarantine they have to undergo RT-PCR and on the 5th day rapid antigen test. If the report of two Tests is negative, he/she will be able to travel Malaysia.

From March 2020, the country's borders were closed to prevent coronavirus. Although 99 per cent of the country's infections are mild or asymptomatic daily due to the recent Omicron outbreak, the Malaysian government has finally decided to open the border conditionally from April 1.
