Amazon fire ban

The President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, has banned setting fires to clear land in the Amazon Rain forest for 60 days, in response to the overwhelming increase in the number of fires there now. The Amazon, which helps to slow down the pace of global warming, has seen more than 80,000 fires break out so far this year.
