Coronavirus: 165,799 Cases, 4,711 Deaths Reported in India

India has reported 165,799 cases and 4,711 coronavirus deaths till Friday, according to the latest data from worldometer.

While 71,106 patients recovered from the disease, 89,982 are active, the source reported.

However, the country reported 7,467 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours in the highest single-day outbreak on Friday, the Hindustan Times reported.

This is the first time that India has reported more than 7,000 cases in a single day.

Most of India’s Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat.
