Over 6500 More Die from Coronavirus Across The Globe

Over 6,500 more people have died of Covid-19, and over 3.87 lakh people have been infected with the virus across the globe in a day.

A total of 6,697 more people died from coronavirus infections worldwide in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 48,81,443. On the other hand, the death toll in the virus was 4,875 in the previous day.

Besides, some 3,87,656 people tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 23,94,70,716. But a day before, the number of daily coronavirus cases was 3,34,683.

Meanwhile, some 21,68,21,778 people have made recoveries from the virus infections across the world so far.

International survey organization Worldometer disclosed the information on Wednesday (October 13) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
