Former US president Donald Trump has condemned alleged attacks on minorities in Bangladesh.
“I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh,” he wrote on X post on Thursday (October 31).
Chief Adviser Dr Yunus’ office has yet to officially react to Trump’s claims.
“It would have never happened on my watch,” Trump stressed, blaming US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for ignoring Hindus in America and elsewhere.
He said that they both have been a disaster, from Israel to Ukraine to their own southern border.
“We will protect Hindu Americans against the anti-religion agenda of the radical left. We will fight for your freedom,” Trump highlighted.
The former US President also vowed to strengthen ties with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, referring to him (Modi) as a “good friend” if he is elected again.
“We will make America strong again and bring back peace through strength,” said Trump.
