Bangladeshi Dies In Israeli Attack In Lebanon || Photo : Collected
A Bangladeshi expatriate was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon's capital Beirut yesterday.
The Bangladeshi victim was identified as 31-year-old Mohammed Nizam. This is the first incident of a Bangladeshi migrant being killed in the Israel-Lebanon war.
The fatality occurred in the Grazmiye area of Beirut on Saturday afternoon (local time). Nizam entered a coffee shop on way to his work, the embassy said.
The son of Mohammed Abdul Quddus and Mst Anowara Begum, Nizam hailed from Kharera in Brahmanbaria’s Kasba Upazila.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Lebanon, Air Vice Marshal Javed Tanveer Khan expressed grief over the death of the remittance fighter and sought forgiveness for his departed soul and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
