Ports Asks to Hoist Cautionary Signal 3

Strong monsoons are causing deep convection to continue over the North Bay, hence it has been suggested that the maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra hoist local cautious signal number 3.

A special statement from the Met office on Monday warned that squally weather may have an impact on Bangladesh's coastal districts, north Bay, and maritime ports.

Till further notice, it is suggested that all trawlers and fishing vessels in the north Bay stay close to the coast and go slowly.
