Rain Likely In Five Divisions

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Khulna and Dhaka divisions and one or two places over Rajshahi, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin issued for 24 hours from 9 am today.

"Moderate to thick fog may occur in the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from late night to tomorrow morning," it added.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius at Khepupara while today's minimum temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded at 31 millimeters (mm) at Satkhira.
