Temperature Likely To Go Up Within A Few Days

Over the next three days, there is expected to be a gradual temperature rise accompanied by a reduction in cold conditions, as reported by the Meteorological Department. Additionally, precipitation is anticipated in the Khulna region next Tuesday. As of Sunday morning, the country's lowest temperature was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur, while the highest was 29 degrees in Sitakunda. Notably, Tetulia experienced a minimum temperature of 8.8 degrees Celsius just a day earlier.

Dhaka has witnessed a decline in minimum temperature from 16.6 degrees Celsius to 14.8 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik outlined in the 24-hour weather forecast, starting from 9 am on Sunday, that the entire country may experience dry weather with a partly cloudy sky. Moderate to thick fog might develop over river basins, leading to temporary disruptions in inland river transport.

During this period, night temperatures are expected to rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, while day temperatures remain relatively constant. On Monday, there is a projected nationwide increase in night temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, with marginal rises in day temperatures. Tuesday might see slight increments in both day and night temperatures. However, a subsequent drop in night temperatures is predicted over the next five days, according to Abul Kalam Mallik.

The Meteorological Department has indicated the likelihood of rain later in the week, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday. Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik mentioned the possibility of light rain on the 6th and 7th, particularly in southern areas, including Dhaka. Post-rain, a slight decrease in temperatures during the night is anticipated.
