Anisuzzaman Becomes President of Bangla Academy for Fourth Time

National Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman was elected for the fourth time as President of the Bangla Academy today.

According to Article 6 (1) of the Bangla Academy Act 2013, he was again appointed for a three-year term from January 29, 2020, to January 28, 2023, through a ministry of culture gazette, said a press release. 

The responsibility of the president and all other activities will be controlled by the Bangla Academy Act 2013.
