JU's Recitation Organization Dhwoni Forms New Committee

The committee for the 2023-2024 session of Jahangirnagar University's recitation organization Dhwoni has been announced. This executive committee was announced yesterday on Wednesday (September 20).

People's Administration Department's (47th batch) student Md. Monirul Islam is the president and Government and Politics Department's (47 Batch) student Mahazabin Saoda Jahan is general secretary in the newly formed committee.

Other members in charge of the Executive Committee are Vice-President-Israt Jahan Oishi (Pharmacy 47 batch), Organizing Secretary-Faisal Rabbi (Bangabandhu Comparative Literature 48 batch), Co-Organizing Secretary-Sadia Afrin Sumi (English 48 batch), Finance Secretary-Rifat Mahmud ( Statistics 48 batch), Joint Finance Secretary-Arifa Sultana Ritu (Marketing 48 batch), Department Secretary-Faiza Mahzabeen (Urban and Regional Planning Batch 48 batch), Joint Department Secretary- Sajeev Talukdar (Archaeology 48 batch), Publicity and Communication- Sadia Sarwar Ullas ( Economics 48 batch) Co-Publicity & Communication- Himadri Shekhar Debnath (English 50 batch), Literary & Publication Editor- Shabab Shahriar Ark (English 49 batch), Co-Literature & Publication Editor- Sadia Islam Ifa (English 50 batch), Information Technology Editor- Ellora Rashid (Chemistry 49 batch), Associate Information Technology Editor-Lutfunnahar Lata (English 50 batch).

There are four active members. They are Imtiaz Ahmed Shihab (Archaeology 51 batch), Jannatun Naeem Jannati (Archaeology 51 batch), Debanjana Dev (English 51 batch), Kazi Helen (English 51 batch).

The working members honored in the committee are Shimul Mitra (International Relations 46 batch), Imran Shahriar (Marketing 46 batch), Lima Akhter (Journalism 46 batch) Ekramul Haque (Chemistry 47 batch).

It is noted that 'Dhwoni' has been working in Jahangirnagar University for twenty-six years in the field of recitation, poetry, speech-excellence.
