Minimal damage after broke out in EC building

A fire broke out on the ground floor of the Election Commission building in Dhaka's Agargaon. 

There was no causality or noteworthy damages as the fire was brought down by firefighters.

 The fire broke out at 11:06pm Sunday at the basement of the building.

Quamrul Hasan, an operator at the Fire Service Central Control Room, said the fire originated on the basement around 11:06pm on Sunday night.

On information, 10 firefighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control around 12:25am on Monday, he said, adding that the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
